The Sector Marketing Director - Retail, Food Service & Hospitality, plays a key role in developing and executing a comprehensive market strategy to drive profitable growth within the Retail, Food Service & Hospitality markets. This leadership role focuses on increasing market share in these markets by leveraging market insights, innovative products and programs, strategic partnerships, key industry associations, and channel partners. This is a remote position. Candidates for this role can reside anywhere in the US. Candidates in Canada will also be considered.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You will influence Strategic Planning and Market Positioning in the following ways:
You’ll develop and execute sector-specific marketing strategies aligned with the business goals.
You’ll define compelling value propositions and messaging tailored to the sector’s challenges and priorities.
You’ll build integrated growth plans, including target identification, winning strategies, and tactical execution.
You’ll conduct market research to uncover trends, risks and opportunities.
You will guide Market & Industry Engagement in the following ways:
You’ll manage engagement and investment with key industry associations and buying groups in the Retail, Food Service & Hospitality markets.
You’ll leverage and grow strategic partnerships and channel relationships to expand market share, accelerate growth, and maximize profitability.
You’ll position the company as a thought leader through content, webinars and industry events.
You will provide Customer Insights & Solution Development in the following ways:
You’ll have the opportunity to lead initiatives to gather and integrate voice of customer insights.
You will collaborate cross functionally with sales, portfolio marketing and channel teams to develop and deploy innovations, winning value propositions and training programs.
You will influence Marketing & Demand Generation:
You’ll oversee sector-specific marketing initiatives to drive awareness, engagement and demand.
You’ll partner with channel stakeholders to enhance demand generation and market penetration.
You will oversee Budget Management:
You’ll manage and optimize budget allocations and overall spend to maximize return on investment and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field with 7-10 years of progressive sales & marketing experience; preferably B2B sales & marketing experience.
Experience in strategic market planning, segmentation and positioning.
Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, customer insights and market positioning.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
Skilled in through leadership development and brand storytelling.
Experienced with digital marketing channels, demand generation and content strategy.
Experience managing industry partnerships.
Ability to travel up to 30%.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior sales and key account management or other customer-facing experience is preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $139,700.00 and $232,800.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
