As a Section Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to all routine operational and administrative activities that occur within the individual’s team for cGMP Cell Therapy production. The role requires flexibility to be able to work in a 12-hour rotating (day, night and weekend) shift.

What you will do
- Manages a high performing team of staff, aligning resources with daily tasks to ensure smooth execution of the production schedule
- Champions a culture of low error rate and consistent clean room behavior. Ensures high level cGMP compliance and integrity
- Provide continued motivational and team building atmosphere. Assist Manufacturing management in the definition, development and provision of career progression paths for individuals
- Carry out performance reviews and recommend advancements for team members where reasonable
- Ensures team members comply to site EHS standards (policies, rules and regulations)
- Responsible for allocating resources to ensure all production activities
are executed as planned - Ensure total readiness of manufacturing suites, including housekeeping, materials and documents e.g. batch records to support shift requirements and any off-shift needs for the day
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biomedical, or related Engineering; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years in biotechnology or bioprocessing; cell and gene therapy experience preferred.
- Talents with current/prior experience working for Mammalian Manufacturing can also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of cell culture and sterile processing in classified environments.
- Expert in system user of business systems such as SAP, TrackWise.
- Time management, planning, prioritization and delegation skills.
- Ability to manage change and communicate it effectively..
