Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:
Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Using various software to produce and prepare correspondence, reports, forms and other documentation in final form from rough drafts or oral instructions according to Department of Navy manuals and guidelines; 2) Working with a Travel Management System such as Defense Travel System (DTS) to prepare travel orders and perform duties as purchase card alternate; 3)Organizing filing systems while maintaining daily correspondence and directives files and records; 4) Creating and maintain logs of status of correspondence, receive incoming mail, screen material for distribution, establish controls and follow up with supervisors; 5) Receiving phone calls and screen visitors to refer callers/visitors to subject matter experts. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
