Tasks & Responsibilites:
SEC Reporting & Compliance
- Manage the preparation, review, and filing of all SEC-required reports, including but not limited to Forms 20-F, 6-K, SD, and NYSE Written Affirmations.
- Support in the resolution of any SEC comment letters and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
- Ensure full compliance with SEC rules, regulations, and financial disclosure requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Oversee the XBRL tagging process and review all supporting documents for SEC filings.
Financial Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with SEC regulations and in accordance with IFRS.
- Prepare and review financial statements, footnote disclosures, and Management’s Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) for quarterly and annual filings.
- Monitor, research, and document new IFRS standards and SEC regulations to assess impacts on financial statements and disclosures.
- Maintenance of the internal reporting tool, Wdesk, for various SEC and non-SEC related internal and external reports
Audit & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external auditors to ensure the accuracy of financial information and disclosures.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Treasury, Legal, Investor Relations, and External Audit, to support reporting and compliance activities.
- Provide guidance to executive and senior leadership on U.S. securities regulatory requirements, IFRS technical accounting issues, and non-SEC external reports prepared by other departments.
General & Other
- Assist in the preparation of prospectuses for bond or note issuances, including participation in due-diligence processes.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across functional areas.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; Ideally a Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant or corresponding professional experience
- 3+ years of related experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit required; public accounting and/or corporate accounting in global company is helpful
- Public‑company financial reporting experience (knowledge of the SEC’s Forms 10‑K/20-F, 10‑Q and 8-K/6-K, MD&A, footnote disclosure rules a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- IFRS accounting knowledge, with a focus on disclosure requirements
- Self-motivated and comfortable with independent problem solving
- Ability to interface with and develop consensus among multiple constituencies at varying levels
- Experience working with auditors and resolving disclosure-related comments
- A highly motivated individual with strong leadership and organizational skills

- Microsoft Office proficiency (required)
- Hands‑on experience with Workiva or similar SEC reporting platforms beneficial, but not required
- English (fluent in both verbal and written)
- German (helpful, but not required)
- Weekend work may be necessary during quarter and year end processes (1-2 Saturdays per quarter)
