Position: Analyst
Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview
Responsible for the day-to-day processing requirements of the function Performs various structured routine operational tasks in a standard work environment. Handles medium complex processes. Understands the mission and vision of the company and how the department contributes to that. Works under supervision; receives instruction, guidance and direction from a senior team member. Acts in line with ING rules and policies.
Responsibilities
As an Analyst, your tasks and responsibilities will principally be:
- Day-to-day Processing, especially trade finance products and remittance
- Handles Local Application/Local reporting /Client in Local language
- Liaising and handles with Front Office, Agent, Client and all other relevant parties to ensure the smooth processing of transactions
- Preparation of reports and statistical data for internal use in the aspects of volume count, control and management purposes
- Ensure that the firm’s and relevant regulatory procedures and controls are adhered to
- Perform ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
- Understand roles, authorities, responsibilities and obligations of compliance and conduct their business accordingly
- Understand which of those are compliance related
Person Specifications
To be considered for this role, the applicant would ideally possess the following pre-requisites:
- Fluent in English and Korean, both verbally and written;
- Ability to communicate well and work with people in different department at all levels;
- Willingness to learn and participate in activities;
- Open minded and eagerness to challenge;
- University degree;
- Strong ability MS Office;
