NK’MIP CELLARS - Seasonal Guest Services Supervisor
LOCATION: Osoyoos, BC
STATUS: Seasonal Hourly Contract (Mar – Dec)
COMPENSATION: $23-$25/hour plus % of team gratuity program

THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Seasonal Guest Services Supervisor, you will work closely with the Estate Manager and winery leadership team to build and lead a dynamic seasonal team delivering exceptional tasting, retail, food, and wine experiences. This role oversees both Tasting Room & Wine Shop experiences and Sweetgrass @Nk’Mip Cellars Restaurant operations, ensuring all programs and initiatives align with overall winery estate strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute Restaurant, Wine & Retail Experiences
- Lead daily Sweetgrass services and assist with tastings, tours, and food & wine experiences, including private dinners and winery events as needed
- Work closely with the winery leadership team to ensure smooth and seamless service execution
- Through guest interactions, identify and recommend retail and restaurant sales and margin-enhancing opportunities
- Act as a key contact for local partnerships, including accommodators, tour operators, and local businesses
- Co-ordinate and collaborate across restaurant and tasting room teams to execute on-site events
Staff Leadership & Development
- Lead by example while working alongside restaurant and tasting room teams
- Develop a fun, motivated, and positive workplace culture
- Maintain and enhance a strong wine culture and premium brand image
- Assist in onboarding, and training all seasonal restaurant and tasting room staff
- Assist in executing structured training programs to ensure consistent, exceptional guest experiences
- Support ongoing staff development with a focus on guest satisfaction and financial performance
- Maintain open, effective communication with all staff and leadership team.
Administrative & Operational Management
- Oversee daily reservations procedures for restaurant and premium food & wine experiences
- Assist with monitoring and responding to all guest inquiries providing prompt, professional replies
- Support expense management and budget adherence
- Assist with inventory management noting products to re-order, promptly receiving, tracking and recording invoices for processing
- Utilize and train staff on Point-of-Sale systems
- Support scheduling, reporting, and calendar management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for people, hospitality, and the wine industry
- 1–3 years of previous restaurant, tasting room, or guest service experience
- Winery or fine dining experience preferred
- Post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or related field considered an asset
- WSET Certification considered a strong asset
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to coach and train team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure seasonal environment
- Solid understanding of business practices, inventory management, and cost controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn, use, and train staff on POS systems
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
