Position Description:

The University of Louisville Golf Club (ULGC) in Simpsonville, KY is looking for a Part-Time Seasonal Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team! The Dishwasher/Prep Cook will work alongside the kitchen staff to ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the kitchen at all times.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans are cleaned and sanitized.

  • Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.

  • Ensure that sanitation and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the kitchen at all times, in accordance with company standards and state and local health and safety regulations.

  • Maintains the cleanliness of the entire kitchen, including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.

  • Empties kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.

  • Assist with food preparation as needed and properly label and store ingredients. 

  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of all food served.

  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
