Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Seasonal Associate Project Manager, in a contractor role, to support the planning and execution of technology and business initiatives across See’s. This role partners closely with IT Product Manager, who owns scope, issue, and risk management, and the IT Program Manager, who owns procedures, milestones, schedule creation, budget compliance, and resource management, while the Project Lead focuses on project execution, successful delivery, issues escalation, and cross functional coordination.

The Project Lead will support a minimum of two concurrent projects and collaborate across See’s diverse business funnels to ensure successful outcomes.
This role will be responsible for coordinating internal team members and one or more vendor partners, across multiple locations, multiple time zones.

The pay range for this position is expected to be $45-$55 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Job Description:

Responsibilities 

Project Planning & Execution 

  • Execute, update, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across concurrent projects.   
  • Validate vendor spending is aligned with approved funding. 
  • Partner with the Product Manager to coordinate release planning, cross-team readiness, and deployment activities. 

Cross-Functional Coordination 

  • Work closely with Product Manager, technical leads, QA, operations teams, vendors, and SMEs to manage daily project activities, dependencies, and deliverables. 
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of project deliverables. 

Communication & Reporting 

  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise status updates for stakeholders and leadership, covering schedule, budget, dependencies, and overall project health. 
  • Communicate proactively to keep all teams aligned and “in‑the‑know,” ensuring visibility into upcoming milestones, decisions, and risks. 
  • Translate complex technical or cross‑functional updates into audience‑appropriate language for executives, business partners, and technical teams. 

Position Requirements 

  • Excellent communication and listening skills—able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Proven ability to build trust, drive consensus, and manage cross-functional teams. 
  • Highly organized: strong meeting facilitation, documentation, and follow-up discipline. 
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, especially when managing multiple projects. 
  • Strong experience with financial tracking for technology projects. 
  • Excels using predefined project templates and procedures. 
  • Practical experience with Smartsheet, Atlassian JIRA/Confluence or similar tools. 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • 5+ years of project or program coordination, or product delivery experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years managing concurrent, complex, or high-visibility projects. 
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, related field—or equivalent experience. 

Additional Desired Experience

  • Prior experience supporting product release cycles or working closely with Product Managers and Program Managers. 
  • Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with diverse business teams—including Retail, eCommerce, Supply Chain/Manufacturing, Fulfillment & Distribution, Operations, Marketing, and Technology 
  • Supporting Waterfall project management with both Agile/Scrum and traditional execution teams. 
  • Experience in environments with high ambiguity and evolving requirements. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to “figure it out” even when processes are not fully defined. 
  • Prior experience managing vendor resources across multiple time zones.
