Job Description
Scrum Master
The Scrum Master and Project Manager role involves guiding and coaching multiple Scrum Teams of a Agile Release Train (ART) in adopting and following SAFe guidelines and practices. You will understand Agile methodologies, facilitation skills, an objective approach to continuous improvement, and experience in programme management within. You will be also responsible for leading Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. The scrum master is expected to work with product owners and development teams to ensure a clear understanding of goals and deliverables.
You will report to the CYBERSECURITY ARCHITECT - IAM and work in a hybrid capacity from our Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad or Noida - India office
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the IAM team on delivering functionalities to support the business needs including on-boarding, certifications, integrations etc. Remove impediments to the team productivity by shielding them from outside influences.
- Expertise with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. This includes understanding Agile ceremonies, artifacts, and roles, and being able to adapt and apply Agile practices to the project context.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, working closely with the Product Owner and development team to ensure that the most valuable and feasible features are delivered. This includes refining and prioritizing user stories, estimating effort, and ensuring that the backlog is well-maintained and aligned with business priorities.
- Risk management and progress reporting including tracking metrics and generating reports to provide visibility into project progress and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and operations, to ensure smooth and coordinated software development and delivery. This includes hosting daily stand-ups, providing input and guidance to the development team, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Flexible to accommodate time-zones as teams are geographically dispersed.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Master's/ Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Computer Science, IT or relater field
- Experience in the Cybersecurity in IAM Domain.
- In documentation and project planning.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Lead Agile transformation programs and across IT, departments, and enterprise leadership to align strategy.
- Improve activities being measured by creating, monitoring, and optimising relevant feedback loops.
- Provide Agile practice leadership and education to our organization, technology delivery capabilities for enabling scrum teams and product owners, to ensure delivery of value
- Influence management teams within our delivery practices, including business and other supporting teams which engage with technology teams on Agile principles, practices, and tools
- Encourage and facilitate cross-team collaboration
- Facilitate management of the Scrum Team's dependencies between the programme team and third parties
- Maintain metrics that communicate with partners on team-level progress and quality
- Improve release management for the agile teams
- Provide Project Management support for Business Partner project for which technology services are provided by enterprise and external teams
