You will use Agile-based approaches such as Scrum, Lean and Kanban to lead and facilitate self-organising and high performing teams to plan and deliver Financial Markets change initiatives.
Key Objectives
Establish strong practices, processes and behaviours for team members to evolve into high performing teams.
Provide practical, hands-on training and guidance to team members less experienced in the use of Agile.
Facilitate ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, release planning, showcases, retrospectives, etc.
Assist the Product Owners in prioritising and maintaining product backlogs.
Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution within the team and with stakeholders external to the Scrum team.
Maintain relevant metrics to monitor, control, manage and report progress and forecasts.
Identify and promote best practice and standards in Agile in conjunction with the Project Management Framework adopted by the Bank.
Your background
To be successful in this critical role you will possess:
Experience in leading a team as a Scrum Master, Agile PM, Trainer or Coach, in a technology infrastructure or software development environment.
Experience with Jira and advanced Agile boards.
Thorough understanding of Agile principles, values and practices.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
Strong facilitation skills, situational awareness and conflict resolution skills.
An understanding of financial services, systems, standards and operations.
Experience dealing with external parties is desirable.
First and or Second Level Scrum Master Certification (CSM & A-CSM)
Certified Agile Leadership certifications (CAL-E, CAL-O & CAL-T) and Product Owner certification (CSPO) are highly desirable.
Your team
Financial Markets Group is responsible for implementing the Reserve Bank's operations in domestic and foreign exchange markets, monitoring developments in financial markets and coordinating the Bank's relationships with international institutions.
In this role you will report to and work closely work with the Senior Manager Business Support Services, Product Owners, Project Managers, Change Strategy Manager and operational areas to facilitate the frameworks, practices, and processes to deliver high quality and timely outcomes to meet the current and future needs of the Bank.
