As a Scrum Master 2, you will play a key role in fostering the adoption and approach using Scrum methodologies, advocating for its principles and practices across the teams and product. You will guide the teams in adopting and fully utilizing the Scrum framework, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and promoting collaboration across teams and products to optimize workflow.

As an enabling leader, you will coach the team to self-organize and improve delivery through strong planning, dependency coordination, and transparent sprint/release reporting. You will remove impediments, manage risks, and align stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs to drive continuous improvement and deliver value in 2-week Sprint cycles.

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives) and promote adherence to Scrum principles and team working agreements.
  • Support sprint execution and delivery outcomes through sprint goals, release planning support, milestone tracking, and delivery transparency.
  • Coach the team to build self-management, collaboration, and continuous improvement behaviors.
  • Use delivery metrics (e.g., throughput, cycle time, predictability, burn trends) to inspect and adapt ways of working.
  • Identify and remove impediments; manage risks and escalate systemic issues when needed (without individual attribution).
  • Partner closely with the Product Owner, Engineering/Delivery Leads, QA, DevOps, Architects, and stakeholders to coordinate dependencies and align milestones.
  • Communicate status, outcomes, and trade-offs clearly; help manage stakeholder expectations.

What You Will Need

  • Experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead for software or technology teams.
  • Strong facilitation skills, ability to coach team dynamics, and proven conflict-resolution capability.
  • Working knowledge of backlog refinement, sprint/release planning, dependency management, and delivery reporting.
  • Comfort operating in regulated or governance-driven environments; able to support audit/compliance artifacts.
  • Familiarity with Jira (boards, dashboards, reporting) and Confluence (team documentation); comfortable facilitating in tools like Microsoft Teams.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices to support flow and release readiness conversations.
  • Preferred: CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe SSM, and/or ITIL Foundation (or equivalent).
