We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to fill an opening for an Outbound Strategy Analyst based at our facility in Smyrna, TN.
The Outbound Strategy Analyst will be responsible for conducting TdC Optimization studies by efficiently shipping to destination. In addition, estimating future model cost studies / allocation milestones & various strategic projects to support Regional & Global initiatives. This position will actively be involved in communication with various team members, both cross functional & cross cultural thereby promoting a healthy team environment within the FVL group.
A Day in the Life:
Optimize the Finished Vehicle Logistics network for US / Canada / Mexico
Cross-functional collaboration to secure mid/long-term capacities, drive transformation and innovation projects with partners and vendors
New Model vehicle distribution cost studies and network flows
New model launch support
Optimizing network design to reduce TdC and improving process using latest tools and technology
Collaboration and benchmark with other OEMs on as needed basis
Formalize processes based on activity
Demonstrate leadership capabilities to work in conjunction with domestic and international counterparts regarding strategic / innovation projects
Lead resolution of cross functional issues with other departments, other Nissan divisions and regions
Manage projects within the SCM FVL organization that aim to optimize resources by proposing, initiating, planning, and implementing cost reduction activities.
Support operations if needed
Who we're Looking for:
Skilled in analytics and advanced with tools (Network Design/Optimization software, Tableau, Python…)
Proficiency in database use: Snowflake is preferred
Proficiency in data visualization tools: Tableau is preferred or Power BI
Financial acumen preferred
High Proficiency in all MS Office Programs with emphasis on excel required
Ability to work in teams with a passion for optimization
Proven kaizen improvements experience, standard operation development, auditing, and problem solving
Highly organized individual with excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills
High level of proficiency in statistical analysis, work observation, standard operation development, auditing, and problem solving
Good interpersonal and communication skills to work/communicate with various domestic and international audiences – 3PL, Vehicle Operations, Finance, New Model Coordination, Nissan Management & Carriers
Years of Experience:
3 years professional experience in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or other business-related discipline
Preferred experience in logistics strategy and routing optimization
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
