iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

As Scientist high-throughput Biophysical Characterization VIE within our Research & Development Laboratory team, you will perform and automate biophysical and bioanalytical screening assay technologies.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with research teams to perform bioanalytical assays and multi⁠-⁠parameter stability assessment of protein-based therapeutics using high-throughput robotic platforms.
  • Plan and execute experiments and research activities.
  • Work closely with internal partners to apply state-of-the-art database and bioinformatics support solutions for data management and analysis.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present data at internal meetings for team discussions and decision making.
  • Document experiments and results in electronic notebook and databases.
  • Openly share scientific expertise and collaboratively help the team to formulate solutions.
  • Maintain the laboratory consistent with departmental and company requirements.

About you

Experience:

  • Sound understanding of biophysical and bioanalytical methods for protein characterization, including Bio-layer interferometry, thermal stability analysis (nanoDSF), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and ELISA-based assays. Working knowledge of at least one of these technologies would be a plus.
  • Experience with protein expression and purification.

Soft and Technical skills:

  • Data management and analysis skills (profound Excel knowledge indispensable).
  • Good in Math / Statistics and motivated to work with large data sets.
  • Strong organizational skills, discipline in daily activity planning and prioritizing.
  • A positive can-do attitude, passion for lab work and technology, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a highly interactive, fast-paced, team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or equivalent.

Languages:

  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
