[What the role is]
The Scientist performs and oversees forensic toxicology testing, evaluates results and prepares reports. He/She supports method development, quality assurance and research activities. The role also assists the laboratory in adopting AI, digitalization and automation.
[What you will be working on]
- Performance of tests, investigations, and research in the service areas within the work scope of the laboratory.
- Plan and perform tests and investigations as necessary, evaluate test results and prepared reports to meet customers’ requirement.
- Investigate and carry out research, development and validation on topics related to the analysis of drugs in biological specimens, and in the development of new tests and the evaluation of new instruments.
- Keep abreast of scientific development in the areas of toxicology and develop relevant expertise.
- Participate in group activities in the laboratory and the organization (e.g. work improvement & innovation projects, seminars, committees, working groups).
- Undertake any other scientific and administrative functions as assigned by Directors and Senior Management.
