About Our Team

We are looking for an experienced editor to join the Trends Open editorial team and the Cell Press Physical Science portfolio of journals. In this unique joint role, you will be exposed to a wide range of innovative chemistry, materials, and energy research. As a member of the editorial team of Trends Open, our Open Access multidisciplinary Review journal, you will engage with researchers to publish high-quality reviews and commentary across the physical, chemical, Earth, applied, and engineering sciences. You will also shape the research and analyses submitted to and published by journals across our Physical Science portfolio. As a member of the Trends Open team, you will work directly with the Editor in Chief to develop the very best review articles that span the physical sciences. As a member of the Cross-Journal editorial team, you will also work with journals across our Physical Science portfolio to evaluate and publish rigorous field-shaping research as described below. We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills and a wide interest in science outside of one’s own area of expertise. This is a full-time editorial position, with preference given to candidates located near our US, Amsterdam or London offices. Please include a cover letter describing why you are interested in the position and how your skills and knowledge could contribute to your success in this role.
