Starting Pay: $19-21/hour
Full-Time (August–May schedule – summers off!)
Shifts: Monday–Friday, school-day hours

Make a real impact on students’ lives by supporting their behavioral and academic success. As a School Support Specialist, you’ll work directly with students, families, and school staff to address behavioral challenges, improve attendance, and connect families to essential resources. This position will serve at an East Omaha school.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Provide administrative intervention for students with behavioral or attendance issues
• De-escalate inappropriate behaviors using approved intervention techniques
• Partner with school staff, students, and families to support student success
• Refer families to community and Boys Town resources as needed
• Track student progress and maintain case files and data
Who We’re Looking For:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum age of 18 required
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and experience with special needs or behavioral support in school settings
Physical & Safety Requirements:
• Mostly sedentary work in a standard school or office environment
• Regular use of computers and standard office equipment
