[What the role is]

The School of Sports and Health, whose vision is to be a leading educator in the domains of sports, health, and community care, invites qualified and passionate candidates to apply for the position of Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager.

[What you will be working on]

The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager will provide operational, administrative and coordination support to ensure the effective delivery of school or departmental functions. The role involves managing processes, supporting stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities
1)    Operations & Events Support
•    Manage and coordinate school or departmental operations and activities
•    Support implementation of programmes, events, projects and initiatives
•    Ensure processes follow institutional policies and guidelines
2)    CET Short Course Management & Administration
•    Provide end to end administrative and operational support for Continuing Education and Training (CET) short courses
•    Coordinate course scheduling, enrolment, logistics and documentation
•    Liaise with lecturers, trainers, partners and internal departments to ensure smooth course delivery
•    Support course setup, post course follow up and reporting
•    Ensure compliance with institutional policies, processes and timelines
3) Content Creation (Video based) Support
•    Support the planning, coordination and production of short video content for school use (e.g. outreach, promotion, learning or engagement purposes)
•    Work with subject matter experts and content leads to translate ideas into clear, usable video content
•    Assist with scripting, scheduling, basic editing or coordination with vendors/platforms where required
•    Ensure content is organised, archived and ready for use across appropriate channels
4) Student Development & SSH Club Support
•    Provide stable administrative and coordination support for student development initiatives
•    Work closely with lecturers to support the planning and running of SSH clubs and student activities
•    Coordinate logistics, communications and documentation for student programmes and events
•    Support continuity and follow through across the academic year to ensure consistent student experience
•    Act as a key administrative point of contact for student development matters within the school
5) Process Improvement
•    Review workflows and recommend improvements for efficiency and clarity
•    Maintain accurate documentation and records

[What we are looking for]

•    Relevant working experience in the public sector or education sector will be an advantage 
•    Strong organisational, coordination and problem-solving skills 
•    Good written and verbal communication skills 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); experience with Canva and video editing software is required
•    Creative and able to translate ideas into clear and engaging content 
•    Reliable, structured and detail oriented, with a strong sense of ownership 
•    Able to work independently with minimal supervision 
•    Good stakeholder management skills and a team player 
•    Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities
