School of Hospitality - Associate Lecturer (Hospitality & Tourism Management)[What you will be working on]
The Associate Lecturer for Hospitality & Tourism Management will contribute and deliver modules or courses in the following areas to PET students:
• Customer and Tourism Analytics
• Sustainability & Sustainable Tourism
• Revenue Optimisation
[What we are looking for]
Qualifications & Experience:
• Relevant academic qualification in hospitality, business, or related disciplines
• At least three years of industry experience in tourism and hospitality, with expertise in one or more areas such as data analytics, sustainable practices, sales, marketing or revenue management
Teaching & Professional Skills:
• Engage and inspire young adult learners through dynamic instruction, fostering understanding by unpacking complex theoretical concepts with clarity.
• Deliver industry-relevant knowledge while upholding high academic standards.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and ensure timely completion of responsibilities
• Possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Availability:
• Able to commit to at least two weekday classes during the semester (Apr - Aug & Oct - Feb)
