School Compliance focuses on knowledge of compliance requirements and state laws to consult with school leaders to ensure school adheres to requirements including: using expertise in operations and compliance to drive improvements and changes; influencing acceptance of new practices, concepts and approaches in school operations and compliance. Prepares and submits all compliancy, funding, and student data reports as required by state law;
Manages databases for school state reporting, state database for compliancy, and compliance cabinet for school sponsor;
Adheres to policies, processes, and procedures regarding state reporting, collection of information, and adherence to state guidelines;
Coordinates communication and submission of necessary documents to ensure compliancy and accuracy of reports.
Ensure student funding data is accurate;
Participate in funding maximization projects;
Assist in operational data analysis and report compilation;
Help create, maintain, and disseminate operational information;
Proactively seeks out opportunities to provide operational support that contributes to providing excellent service to the schools and their clients.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study AND
Three (3) years in operations role OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong knowledge of Federal and State (Colorado) education regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to project manage, adhere to timelines and due dates, and organize data effectively;
Strong written and verbal communication sills
Basic knowledge of Colorado reporting structure and laws regarding state funding’
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,); Web proficiency; Proficiency using a student information system and/or similar type of database software
Ability to travel 10% of the time, as required for training, school-wide professional development and as needed basis
Ability to clear required background check
Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
Exempt (salary): Post annual salary We anticipate the salary range to be $60,000 - $85,000 USD Annual . Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
