Hourly Pay Range:

This role supports the access initiative as it pertains to template management. The Template Analyst has shared accountability for the success of provider schedule optimization. Working in collaboration with the Medical Group Practice Managers, Information Technology, and the Patient Access Team, the incumbent will have responsibility for building, validating, and analyzing scheduling templates to enhance provider access and ensure adherence with scheduling guidelines and best practices. The incumbent will regularly educate, interact with, and collaborate with colleagues throughout the System and will lead communication with managers, patient access, and other staff to assist in meeting organizational objectives and priorities.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Required Travel: travel to other Endeavor Health locations may be required
What you will do:
Proactively maintain a thorough and up to date understanding of Cadence, Epic, and Decision Trees.
Partner with Operations (management and front line staff) to understand current scheduling and template workflows, requests, and concerns.
Educate Operations on template best practices and guidelines; build optimized templates together.
Educate Operations and front line staff on security, templates, scheduling, and more.
Ensure that build supports overall System goals of standardization, access, and throughput through audits and validation.
Create and maintain educational job aids such as QRGs, videos, trainings, and classes.
Work closely with Operations and IT to ensure that template and scheduling recommendations are built accurately in Epic.
Work in partnership with IT to maintain Epic build that is clean and accurately reflects reality.
Collaborate with template team members and others as needed to work towards system goals.
Discover problems in templates and related areas, using objective (reports, SlicerDicer) and subjective (observations, conversations) data sources.
Create and utilize reports to monitor patient access, identify negative trends, and gauge improvement efforts.
Apply critical thinking to diagnose issues and devise effective solutions.
Actively pursue updates and innovative solutions from Epic or alternative resources to enhance outcomes.
What you will need:
Education: High School Diploma, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred
Certification: n/a
Experience: 1+ years of experience in ambulatory practice operations. 1+ years of experience with an electronic medical records, specifically physician schedules and template management. Epic preferred.
Unique or Preferred Skills:
Effective written and oral communications skills
Ability to understand data and track results
Established interpersonal skills; ability to be collaborative
