The Scheduling Operations Coordinator will be collaborating with Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery templates across Puget Sound Region (Auburn, Tacoma, Puyallup, and Olympia)
Position Summary
The Scheduling Operations Coordinator partners with leadership to effectively manage scheduling templates and APEX for multiple MHS Partners. You will collaborate with leadership in planning, designing, and modifying existing templates for all locations. The ideal candidate can work collaboratively, complete work independently, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and use good judgment to improve the scheduling process and increase appointment capacity at site(s). You will utilize Epic, APEX, and Excel in the performance of duties.Essential Functions
Manages template change requests; evaluates and prioritizes requests, coordinates cross-functional teams, implements changes, conducts testing and quality assurance
Ensures proper documentation and communicates changes to all affected parties
Assists with workflow optimization; evaluates scheduling workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency
Assists with updating and maintenance of APEX
Performs administrative duties, and responds to inbound calls when required
Creates reports to effectively report results to the leadership team
Ensures effective and prompt communication with customers when service expectations cannot be met
Qualifications
Post-high school clerical vocational training or college coursework preferred
Four (4) years or more of experience in a Centralized Call Center setting
Four (4) years of Epic experience preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.83 - $35.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
