The Position

Engineering Project Support and Operation Readiness:

  • Support manager to design and implement planning workflows, including MRP, production scheduling, and capacity planning, aligned with SAP, MPS systems
  • Collaborate with IT and project teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP, and MPS systems with production and supply chain workflows
  • Perform the creation, validation, and maintenance of master data to enable efficient planning in SAP and MPS systems.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including production, quality, and engineering, to establish robust planning practices that support qualification and start-up milestones.
  • Assist manager to set up a team and people hiring schedule to build a competitive team that meets the project and operation ramp up plan.

Routine Operation:

  • Optimize site capacity and resource planning during budget cycles based on various factors including sales demand, working days impacted by projects, period costs, inventory strategy, etc.
  • Settle down the Master Production Schedule (MPS) on a monthly basis, influence key local/global stakeholders to maintain production constancy and stability in terms of site benefits, period costs, capacity utilization, etc.
  • Single point of contact with global PTS teams for DS/DP/SEMP supply of local products and related LCC initiation, implementation, follow up and coordination.
  • Work out Material Requirement Plan (MRP) based on master production plan. Communicate changes of MRP with production planner and other impacted cross functional teams.
  • Trace the whole process of material purchasing, delivering, testing and releasing.  Ensure the inventory of packaging materials and excipients can fully support site production requirements with safety stock prepared per agreement.
  • Responsible for Safety Stock strategy per business requirement and agreement with procurement to mitigate supply shortage risk.
  • Host weekly Production Planning meeting, lead cross functional teams to integrate all necessary site activities and projects.
  • Draft out Weekly/Daily Production Schedule based on Master Production Schedule and revise according to realistic production circumstances, make sure FG supplies are consistently produced and released timely to meet business requirements.
  • Run shift model simulations for production team analysis and decision making as a reliable consultant. Consolidate data & info to re-assess site capacity planning and propose shift model adjustments whenever necessary based on business needs.

Qualification and Experience

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Biotechnology, Manufacturing field and above.

Job Required Competencies

  • 10 or more years of experience in operation experience in the GMP production environments, with proven expertise in production planning, supply chain planning, MNC preferred.
  • Experienced in new planning system startup readiness and ramp up.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP concepts, production scheduling methodologies, and capacity planning strategies.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and execution skills, with the ability to effectively drive project progress and solve complex issues.
  • Able to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans
  • Fluent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
