Job Description :
With over 200 brands sold in more than 180 countries, Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks company. But we’re not standing still. As the marketing landscape transforms, we’re building a new model to lead it - powered by digital, data, and creativity at scale.
We are launching the EU Media & Digital Centre - a bold step forward in how we deliver marketing across Europe. This team will be the centre of executional excellence for Media, Content, CRM, Data, Websites and Effectiveness - enabling our brand and category leaders to move faster, work smarter, and connect more meaningfully with consumers.
Spanning locations across Europe and working as part of the Global Consumer Digital Team, the EMDC brings together specialist talent in AI-powered media planning, data-driven creative, performance content, and precision CRM - all in service of delivering extraordinary experiences for our brands, at scale and with speed.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that’s not just driving campaigns — but helping reshape how marketing works. If you’re excited by performance, collaboration, innovation, and doing meaningful work on a global stage, then this could be the role for you.
As a Scenario Modelling & Analysis Manager, you will deliver high-quality analytics that inform investment choices and optimise A&P deployment across Europe. You will be responsible for building and maintaining sufficiency analysis, return on investment analysis, and scenario forecasts. You will also analyze marketing efforts and distribution results to find opportunities for improvement.
Crucially, you will turn data into actionable insight - translating complex modelling outputs into clear, business-relevant recommendations for markets, Hubs, and senior stakeholders.
Analysis & Forecasting
Build, maintain, and evolve sufficiency guides for budget allocation decisions across brands, markets, and channels.
Conduct analysis of value and scenario planning to forecast the commercial consequences of various investment choices.
Stress-test plans under varying market and competitive conditions to support risk-aware decision-making.
Develop, sustain, and improve sufficiency and return on investment scenarios that guide prioritization and investment choices.
Run scenario analyses to forecast the impact of different A&P deployment strategies.
Draw on campaign and channel performance data as inputs into modelling frameworks - ensuring results are grounded in real performance.
Ensure all modelling outputs are fed into planning cycles and decision-making rhythms.
Insight Translation & Stakeholder Engagement
Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, compelling insights and proposals for markets, hubs, and senior collaborators, working closely with Global Marketing Efficiency.
Build strong partnerships with Market Brand Teams, ensuring insights are used to guide future briefs and investments.
Contribute to “The Diageo Way” of effectiveness by embedding analytics into day-to-day planning.
Collaboration & Alignment
Partner with the Marketing Efficiency Engine Lead to ensure outputs align with the European and worldwide ME strategy.
Share findings with the Global ME team, ensuring European insights feed into tool development and capability evolution.
Collaborate directly with Finance and Commercial partners to ensure marketing investment recommendations tie back to NSV and value outcomes.
Work with local markets to improve the data quantity and quality for feeding into ME tools like BDM and Sensor.
Work closely with Global Marketing Effectiveness in creating tangible recommendations for local markets.
What you’ll have:
3-5 years experience in media, marketing analytics, econometrics, or commercial strategy, ideally in FMCG or media contexts.
Strong expertise in MMM model outputs including ROIs, sufficiency planning, and scenario analysis.
Skilled at translating data into clear, business-focused narratives for non-technical audiences.
Hands-on experience with analytics platforms, statistical modelling tools, and visualisation dashboards (e.g., Catalyst, Sensor, Power BI, Tableau).
Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity, with a test-and-learn mindset.
Collaborative and solutions-focused style - able to work across markets, hubs, and global teams.
Knowledge of SQL and Python/R is a bonus.
We are looking for someone who will bring strengths in these areas:
Analytical Excellence - delivering robust, reliable analyses that underpin key investment decisions.
Business Translation - turning complex outputs into simple, actionable insights for marketers and leaders.
Collaboration - partnering across regions, centers, and international ME teams to ensure insights are shared and adopted.
Continuous Improvement - refining processes over time, embedding learning into Diageo’s approach to efficiency.
