What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate scaling equipment to safely remove loose or unstable rock in underground areas.
- Inspect work areas to identify scaling needs and potential hazards.
- Maintain equipment through routine checks and basic servicing.
- Follow all underground safety procedures and site-specific protocols.
- Collaborate with the production team to support efficient and safe operations.

- Ability to safely operate heavy or specialized equipment in confined spaces.
- Strong hazard recognition skills, especially related to underground ground control.
- Capacity to follow technical instructions and adapt to changing conditions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety and operational discipline.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
What We Offer
- $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50/hr underground rate
