Currently we are looking for: SCADA Automation Engineer

Role Overview:

In this role, the employee will be responsible for the configuration, development, and ongoing support of SCADA systems across production lines, machinery, and technological installations. The specialist will implement SCADA functions and applications, monitor system performance, diagnose and resolve errors to maintain operational continuity.

The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, production site personnel, and external automation vendors. The engineer will integrate SCADA with PLC, MES, and ERP systems to enable efficient data exchange and process control, maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, and provide user support and training to ensure effective system usage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and develop SCADA systems for production lines, machinery, and technological installations.
  • Implement SCADA functions and applications, perform functional testing, and manage interface integration.
  • Develop and program industrial controllers to support automated processes.
  • Integrate SCADA systems with power and protection systems, conducting interface tests to guarantee seamless functionality and reliability.
  • Integrate SCADA with PLC, MES, and ERP systems to enable efficient data exchange and process control.
  • Monitor SCADA system performance, identify, analyze, and resolve errors to maintain operational continuity.
  • Configure and maintain communication protocols, ensuring compliance with communication and quality standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for SCADA systems and software changes.
  • Provide user support and deliver training for ends users to ensure effective system usage.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of SCADA system architecture, configuration, deployment, and integration with other production systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in reading and creating technical documentation, including electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC controllers for industrial automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation and Control Engineering (or related field).
  • Proven experience in project planning, execution, and reporting, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written), at least B2 level.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the European Union. Visa or work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
