The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced Field Service Technical Maintenance Manager to provide leadership and oversight of US Space Force Satellite Control Network Depot Maintenance and Sustainment activities supporting global Satellite Control Network operational locations.

The position is the Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) Supervisor for the DSLM Contract.  You will provide technical leadership and management oversight for all Depot PDM (Level 2) maintenance activities including On-Site Repairs, Maintenance Assists, Emergency and Urgent Maintenance actions, and other related HW/SW/RF sustainment activities.

Responsibilities:

Providing customer support through oversight and performance of Depot PDM and sustainment efforts. This includes overseeing and/or performing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and onsite depot PDM repairs of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves PDM scheduled activities. Serves as company liaison with government personnel on administrative and technical matters for Depot PDM supported activities. Interprets Government needs, defines next steps, and clarifies the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed. Includes any aspect of on-site/off-site Depot PDM support and is not limited to system hardware, software, network, and other technical infrastructure components.

Establish necessary relationships with support organizations, assess PDM operations, and establish processes and procedures. You would supervise up to 6 or more people. This position will directly interface with the Government customer while supporting various contract required meetings.  You will be responsible for performing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to PDM schedules, activities, reporting and tracking of network outages, and supported contract efforts.  In the long-term, maintain knowledge of the SCN’s geographically-disperse sites, personnel, and equipment.  Manage Depot PDM activities such as training and certification requirements. Continually work toward depot maintenance process improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

Required: 

Education:  Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent
Experience:  10 Years related work experience with:

  • Managing/overseeing Space Force/DoD contract PDM maintenance/repair functions
  • Satellite Control Network (AFSCN)
  • Interfacing with active duty military and civil service personnel
  • Leading a team of skilled technician

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$61,600-$129,300
