 WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

We are seeking an experienced SAP developer to serve as the tech lead responsible for our global Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets ERP technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, deep expertise in SAP Finance modules (FI/CO), and a solid understanding of ERP systems and ETL processes. This role requires a leader who can drive technical solutions, mentor team members, and collaborate with business stakeholders and external vendors across North America, Europe, and APAC to deliver high-quality SAP solutions that support our financial operations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Serve as tech lead responsible for the global Accounts Payable / Fixed Assets ERP technology platforms

  • Lead the discovery, documentation, and understanding of existing AP/FA processes across multiple regions

  • Contribute to and lead technical changes required on the various ERP platforms

  • Communicate effectively with external vendors and business partners in North America, Europe, and APAC

  • Oversee and participate in ABAP development, ensuring best practices and code quality

  • Manage and mentor a team of SAP resources and application developers

  • Design and implement ETL processes for data integration between SAP and other enterprise systems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in SAP environments

  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support

  • Stay current with SAP technology trends and recommend improvements to existing systems

  • Prepare technical documentation

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

 Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA

  • Strong knowledge in SAP financial modules (FI/CO)

  • 3+ years of ABAP programming experience

  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable / Fixed Assets processes

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, project coordination, and stakeholder communication

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with global teams and external vendors across multiple time zones

Nice-to-have

  • .NET programming experience

  • Knowledge of ETL processing in the financial domain

  • SAP certification(s) in FI modules

  • Experience with S/4HANA migrations or implementations

  • Experience working in Agile project environments

  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains / Dynamics 365

  • Experience with Epicor Kinetic e10
