SAP Security & Compliance Expert

Job Description:

Responsibilities - your mission

As part of IT Internal Controls  team, you will:

  • Act as the primary focal point for all SAP IT General Controls (ITGC) questions, with a strong focus on Access Management controls

  • Design, assess, and ensure adherence to SAP Segregation of Duties (SoD) rules, including regular monitoring, conflict resolution, and defining mitigating controls

  • Manage and execute periodic SAP Access Reviews and Certification campaigns, ensuring all authorizations are appropriate for the user's role and providing auditable evidence

  • Provide expert guidance on a risk-based approach to SAP Authorizations, supporting projects and organizational changes to maintain overall security and compliance consistency within the authorization concept

  • Actively support internal and external audits on existing SAP solutions, proactively collecting, archiving, and providing high-quality evidence and clear clarification to Auditors and Internal Controls stakeholders

  • Oversee and validate the proper use of SAP administrative Tcodes and roles to prevent unauthorized system changes

 

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

  • Degree in IT, Engineering, or Management with +1 year of experience working with SAP Basis or SAP Authorizations

  • In-depth, practical knowledge of SAP authorization

  • Innovation leadership: deploy appropriate innovation methods, techniques and tools to support an innovation opportunity lifecycle phase

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; self-motivated problem solver and quick learner; ability to work independently and collaboratively

Technical focus:

 
  • Expert-level understanding and application of the Segregation of Duties (SoD) concept within an SAP environment

  • SAP authorization concepts including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of single and composite roles

  • Expert-level understanding and application of the Segregation of Duties (SoD) concept within the SAP environment

  • Proven experience in managing Audit/Internal Controls/Compliance requests related to SAP access

  • Strong familiarity with critical SAP Tcodes for Access Management: PFCG, SU01, SUIM, SE16; (SE93, SE01 a plus)

  • IT Audit experience and understanding of control environments for SAP S4/HANA, Fiori, and BW (BI) systems (ECC is a plus)

  • Experience with Change Request Management (ChaRM) tool or similar for controlled, auditable authorization changes
