Location: Hybrid with up to 50% travel to client location.  Candidates located within 25 miles of a DXC office are required to work onsite two days per week.  Preferred locations: Plano, TX · Detroit/Farmington Hills, MI · Nashville, TN · New York City, NY · New Orleans, LA: Ashburn, VA · Tulsa, OK

Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead complex SAP implementations and transformations at customer sites, primarily in the automotive and/or continuous manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering SAP projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects (greenfield, brownfield, or hybrid).
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and DXC delivery standards.
  • Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting using PowerPoint, Excel, and other tools.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, and phase gate reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the SAP practice.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and DXC’s governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of SAP project management experience, including 3 or more major SAP implementations.
  • Proven experience managing SAP S/4HANA projects in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in projects transforming SAP systems from ECC to S/4
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP and SAP Activate Project Manager certification.
  • Experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Signavio, and SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or relevant cloud certifications.
  • Experience in managing multi-country or multi-vendor projects.
