About you and this role
Dow has an exciting opportunity for a position of an SAP MM/FI Consultant in Information Technology Analyst role with SAP skills located in Navi Mumbai, India. The Information Technology Analyst designs, develops, and supports solutions and global processes to meet business needs and requirements. The candidate shall be working in Source to Pay team; hence the expectation is to understand Source to Pay process in SAP.
Job Responsibilities
- Gathers and analyzes business requirements for assigned functional and technical areas using expanded conceptual and practical knowledge.
- Works closely with global business process teams, technical teams, and other stakeholders to design and build objects which meet requirements.
- Communicates effectively both within the team and with external stakeholders (e.g. businesses and technical counterparts).
- Communicates status, metrics, risks, and issues on a timely basis.
- Applies knowledge and experience to support work processes.
- Documents detailed designs.
- Builds, tests, and implements application objects.
- Assists with issue resolution.
- Helps ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in discipline of Information Technology or higher is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of industry experience with exposure to SAP technologies.
- Knowledge of Source to Pay process in SAP is must.
- SAP Material Management (MM) or Financial Accounting (FI) is required.
- A minimum requirement for this India based position is the ability to work legally in India.
Your Skills
- SAP Certification in MM &/or FICO is beneficial.
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba modules or other sourcing tools will be beneficial.
- OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) knowledge is beneficial.
- Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is beneficial.
- SAP ABAP programming knowledge and troubleshooting is beneficial.
