Job Description:
As the SAP Manufacturing Architect to our Discrete Manufacturing operations, you will be the architect of our production lifecycle. Your mission is to ensure that our assembly lines run at peak efficiency by leveraging S/4HANA Production Planning and Execution (PP-SFC). You will transform high-level demand into actionable production orders, ensuring that every nut, bolt, and sub-assembly is accounted for in real-time.you will be contributing to the Airbus Transformation strategy
Methodology & Delivery: Lead end-to-end implementations using SAP ACTIVATE methodology. Drive Fit-to-Standard workshops to align business requirements with SAP Best Practices, minimizing custom code.
Core Production Execution: Manage the full lifecycle of Production Orders, from initial creation and release to confirmation and Technical Completion (TECO).
Planning Optimization: Expertly configure MRP Live for discrete components, focusing on lead-time reduction, safety stock management for sub-assemblies, and buffer management.
Shop Floor & PEO Integration: Design and implement shop floor solutions, including PEO (Production Engineering and Operations) or integration with external MES/MII systems.
Consumption & WIP Accuracy: Design streamlined processes for Backflushing and Confirmations to ensure real-time "Work in Progress" (WIP) visibility and accurate labor tracking.
Cross-Module & Interface Management: Drive seamless integration between Manufacturing and other SAP modules (P2P, O2C, CO). Manage complex data flows using various SAP Interfacing techniques.
Lifecycle Management: Oversee SAP Manufacturing Archiving strategies to maintain system performance and data compliance.
Master Data Mastery: Deep expertise in Material Masters, BOMs, Work Centers, and Routings.
Advanced Scheduling: Hands-on proficiency in ePPDS (embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) for finite capacity scheduling.
Logistics & Traceability: * PP-WM/EWM Integration: Staging parts via Production Supply Areas (PSA).
Serial Number & Batch Management: Enabling full traceability for individual units through the assembly process.
Engineering Control: Manage versioning and design-to-production transitions via Engineering Change Management (ECM).
The Modern Stack: * Proven experience applying Clean Core patterns to keep the digital core stable.
Proficiency with the S/4HANA ecosystem: SAP Signavio (process mining), LeanIX (enterprise architecture), and SAP Cloud ALM.
Ability to document and visualize architecture flows using the Archimate Tool.
Bonus Expertise: Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and PEO/MII is highly desirable.
Complex Assemblies: Previous experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Machinery, or High-Tech Electronics.
Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of Kanban (Electronic Kanban in SAP) or Just-in-Time (JIT) methodologies.
