Job Description Summary
The IT Business Analyst – SAP S/4HANA will support the PDx USCAN Radiopharma Sales, Commercial and Customer Services functions, acting as the primary point of contact for all SAP-related topics for this business area.
This role requires deep hands-on SAP experience across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, strong understanding of order-to-cash, commercial and customer service processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into deliverable SAP solutions.
The role will play a critical part in the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, while also supporting the ongoing growth and digital transformation of the Radiopharma business in USCAN, including Flyrcado, Vizamyl, and future product expansions.

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Demand Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for PDx USCAN Radiopharma for all SAP-related enquiries, incidents, and enhancement requests spanning Sales, Commercial, and Customer Services.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to capture, clarify, and document customer requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business need, urgency, and value.
- Prioritise requirements and change requests in collaboration with business leaders, based on business impact, risk, and strategic priority.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing SAP process guidance and solution options aligned with global standards and ways of working.
SAP Solution Design & Delivery
- Translate business requirements into clear, detailed functional specifications and enhancement requests for SAP delivery teams.
- Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to explain requirements, answer functional questions, and ensure solutions meet business intent.
- Support the delivery, testing and implementation of SAP enhancements and fixes, including coordination of UAT with business users.
- Actively participate in release planning, change governance, and deployment activities.
SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Migration
- Play a key role in the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation programme, with specific responsibility for Sales, Commercial, and Customer Service processes.
- Support process design, data validation, testing, and business readiness activities for the migration.
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities as part of the transition to S/4HANA.
- Ensure business continuity and minimal disruption during migration and cutover phases.
Interfaces & Integration Management
- Work in close partnership with the SAP Interfaces Lead to support external and internal integrations with SAP.
- Act as the SAP business representative when engaging with vendors, partners, and customers who interface directly with the SAP landscape.
- Translate business and integration requirements into clear SAP interface needs, supporting end-to-end delivery from requirement through implementation.
- Support issue resolution for SAP interfaces impacting order processing, commercial flows, or customer services.
Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and digitise business processes using SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
- Act as a champion for continuous improvement, proposing enhancements that drive efficiency, scalability, and customer experience improvements.
- Support the business in adopting new SAP functionality and evolving ways of working.
- Contribute to shaping the future SAP roadmap for PDx USCAN Radiopharma.
Quality, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure SAP changes adhere to GE HealthCare Quality Management System, validation requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Work with IT Quality and Validation teams to ensure appropriate documentation, testing, and approvals are completed.
- Comply with all Quality, Compliance and Data Integrity requirements, and complete mandatory training within required timelines.
- Proactively identify and escalate quality or compliance risks and support corrective actions.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Business, Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience working with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA in a business-facing role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Sales, Commercial and Customer Service processes within SAP (e.g. Order-to-Cash).
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications.
- Experience working on SAP transformation or migration programmes, preferably ECC to S/4HANA.
- Experience working with SAP interfaces and integrations, including coordination with vendors and external partners.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business leaders, IT teams and external partners.
Preferred
- Experience in life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical or radiopharma environments.
- Exposure to regulated systems and validated SAP landscapes.
- Experience operating within global SAP templates and governance models.
