Our SAP Expert Team is looking for a SAP Functional Solution Architect to join our Group headquarters in Gdansk, on a permanent contract. This role sits at the heart of our SAP landscape, supporting both strategic transformation and operational excellence.

YOUR MISSIONS:

As a SAP Functional Solution Architect, you play a key role in securing the robustness, coherence, and evolution of Lyreco’s SAP ecosystem.

You will:

  • Act as a senior expert in the resolution of complex, cross-module SAP incidents, ensuring fast and sustainable solutions for priority issues.

  • Support and mentor SAP team members through coaching and knowledge sharing, contributing to the overall maturity of the team.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and technical experts to translate business needs into robust, integrated SAP functional solutions.

  • Lead and oversee large-scale SAP enhancements and projects, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives, SAP best practices, and industry standards.

Detailed responsibilities and tasks for this role:

  • Lead the resolution of complex functional and technical SAP issues, providing guidance to SAP Consultants.

  • Act as a key point of contact for priority incidents and coordinate their resolution across teams.

  • Diagnose functional issues (configuration, business processes, master data) and technical issues (custom code debugging, performance analysis, IDOCs, batch jobs).

  • Collaborate closely with ABAP and technical teams on complex developments and troubleshooting.

  • Deliver regular training sessions on standard and custom SAP functionalities.

  • Mentor and coach SAP team members, supporting their professional development.

  • Gather, analyse, and refine business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Recommend optimal functional and technical solutions aligned with business needs.

  • Produce detailed functional and technical specifications for complex enhancements and projects.

  • Perform advanced SAP configuration and coordinate complex ABAP developments.

  • Oversee unit testing and user acceptance testing phases.

  • Participate in SAP Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities to ensure alignment and communication.

  • Coordinate user training, go-live preparation, and hypercare support.

  • Lead teams of SAP consultants in the design and delivery of complex projects.

  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.

  • Ensure consistency and coherence of SAP developments across environments and satellite applications.

  • Assess the impact of enhancements on the overall SAP landscape.

  • Provide strategic direction for SAP enhancement initiatives in line with long-term business goals.

YOUR PROFILE :

  • Proven experience as a SAP Functional Consultant or SAP Solution Architect in complex SAP environments.

  • Strong cross-module SAP expertise with the ability to understand end-to-end business processes.

  • Solid understanding of both functional and technical SAP topics, enabling effective collaboration with development teams.

  • Experience leading SAP enhancements, projects, or workstreams in an international context.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with business and technical stakeholders.

  • A collaborative mindset, combined with leadership, autonomy, and a strong sense of accountability.

  • Fluent professional English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
