A Day in Your Life at MKS/Atotech:
The role of SAP FICO Functional Support Lead is to provide SAP support to end users across MKS globally, with a particular focus on MKS entities in Europe.
The main mission will be to lead and coordinate a team of 5–7 SAP functional support consultants (core modules). You will provide functional leadership, prioritize workloads, facilitate knowledge sharing, and ensure day-to-day coordination, while remaining hands-on in SAP FICO.
You Will Make an Impact By:
• Providing first-level and second-level support for SAP FICO-related issues.
• Troubleshooting and resolving problems within the SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
• Managing support calls and tickets, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of user issues.
• Performing root cause analysis for recurring FICO-related problems and implementing preventive measures.
• Assisting in the maintenance and optimization of SAP FICO configurations and customizations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Documenting support processes, solutions, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing.
Skills You Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of one to three years of experience working in SAP FI areas.
Other Training, Technical Skills, or Knowledge Which Are Required:
• Experience working in a multi-site, global business environment and within a multicultural community.
• One to three years of experience in SAP support, with a focus on FICO modules.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and controlling concepts.
• Experience handling support tickets and resolving FICO-related issues.
• Familiarity with SAP FICO reporting and analytics tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to finance and controlling processes.
• Familiarity with SAP ABAP development for FICO-specific customizations.
• Understanding of integration between FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, HR).
