IT Business Consultant – Warehouse Management

Our ERP programme is central to this effort, aiming to consolidate twelve legacy ERP systems into a unified, future-proof platform built on SAP S/4HANA, complemented by a robust second-tier ERP solution. This transformation will empower our global operations across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and customer service, fostering agility, facilitating data-driven decision-making, and driving operational excellence.

Your Mission

As an IT Business Consultant, you will be responsible for facilitating the implementation and support of solutions within the SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and SAP Materials Management (MM) modules. Your focus will be on enhancing business functionality and overall performance while ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Integrating third-party applications for RF devices and other warehouse automation technologies.
  • Delivering value-adding recommendations and solutions aligned with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitating ongoing process optimisation.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the SAP transformation to S/4HANA and the rollout of a robust second-tier ERP solution.

You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team of IT Business Consultants, specialising in various SAP functionalities, with most team members located in Hungary.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

  • Supporting and developing SAP Warehouse Management (WM).
  • Participating in the SAP S/4HANA transformation programme and second-tier ERP rollout.
  • Facilitating the development of User Requirements Specifications.
  • Proactively identifying and proposing business process or application enhancements.
  • Acting as the liaison between business units and the development team.
  • Facilitating workshops.
  • Planning and executing tests.
  • Managing configuration.
  • Conducting fit/gap analysis.
  • Developing documentation, including Design Specification, Business Blueprint, and Functional Specification.

What we are looking for:

  • The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Proven understanding of SAP Warehouse Management and Materials Management modules.
  • Demonstrated understanding of dependencies and implications across other SAP modules.
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes and SAP Warehouse Management.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and customising SAP WM, with integration to Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Inventory Management (IM) being highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SAP interface technologies, such as IDOC.
  • Ability to read, evaluate ABAP source code, debug, and assist with minor bug fixes and changes is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
