Desired to have total of 6-9 years of working knowledge of SAP BW/4 HANA, aDSO’s, Transformations, AMDP’s, BAPI’s, Update Rules, Transfer Rules, DTP’s, InfoPackages, and Process Chains
Working knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA Data Extractors (eg, SD, FI, COPA, MM), Logistics, CDS and change data capture, as well and custom generic extractors, and Function Module extractors.
Preferred to have hands-on experience of S/4HANA ABAP CDS development with SAP Hana Studio or Eclipse (Table Joins, Master data view Associations, custom CDS views, Analytical views , extensions using CDS includes
Knowledgeable with BW Queries including RKF, CKF, and User Exit Variables as well as BW/4HANA Calculation Views (CV’s).
Strong analytical and problem solving skills related to resolving data load issues
Knowledgeable in ABAP as it relates CMOD Enhancements for extractors, Start Routines, End Routines and Field Routines
Ability to create transports for change management and perform appropriate unit, integration, and performance testing
Experience with SAP Functional Models like SD, MM, FI and related Tables and transactions to support troubleshooting activities
Ability to develop test plans and technical specifications for enhancement requests
Appropriate customer interaction and ability to communicate well both written and verbally
Experience with OSS and me.sap Forums for researching issues
Experience with SAP Business Objects using Webi Reports with BICS connection to BEX Queries and universes as well SAC is preferred
Experience in SAP Data Migration using LSMW for ECC 6.0 a plus
Knowledgeable in SQL Server Transact SQL (PL/SQL) and SQL Server Management Studio and Job Agent monitoring and stored procedures a plus
Job Responsibilities:
Analyzing enhancement requests and turning them into solution designs that are compatible with existing development objects and design standards.
Performing development and testing tasks in the context of larger projects and providing estimates on development and testing.
Daily monitoring of the Thermo Fisher Helpdesk queue and assigning work to team members as well as ensuring SLA’s are met.
Interacting with customers who submit tickets for issues or enhancements and working to resolve issues in a timely manner and proposing solutions to Thermo Fisher staff related to enhancement requests along with estimates of effort.
Adhering to Thermo Fisher Change Control processes for change requests.
Providing daily and weekly status reports for formal review with Thermo Fisher staff to discuss actions and timelines related to work tasks assigned to team members.
Providing support to other team members including mentoring, design reviews, code reviews, testing verification (unit, integration, regression and performance).
