We are seeking a skilled SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Developer to design, develop, and implement SAP BTP applications, integrations, and extensions under the guidance of a Senior BTP Architect.

In this role, you will work closely with SAP functional consultants, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that extend SAP S/4HANA and hybrid landscapes.

This position requires strong hands-on development skills, integration expertise, and familiarity with SAP BTP services, while operating within established architectural and governance frameworks.

 

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

  • Develop and deploy SAP BTP applications and extensions based on defined architecture and business requirements.
  • Build applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP – Node.js or Java).
  • Develop UI solutions using SAP Fiori / SAPUI5.
  • Create and consume OData and REST APIs.

 

Integration Development

  • Design and implement integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
  • Develop interfaces between SAP S/4HANA (on-premise or RISE) and third-party systems.
  • Support API-based and event-driven integration scenarios.
  • Implement secure connectivity using OAuth2, JWT, and XSUAA.

Data & HANA Development

  • Develop and maintain artifacts in SAP HANA / HANA Cloud.
  • Optimize data models and queries for performance.
  • Support troubleshooting of data-related issues.

AI & Innovation Exposure

  • Support development and integration of AI-enabled use cases on SAP BTP.
  • Assist in implementing SAP Joule extensions and integrations under senior guidance.
  • Gain exposure to SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad where applicable.

DevOps & Quality

  • Support CI/CD pipeline implementation for SAP BTP projects.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
  • Support deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of SAP development experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on SAP BTP experience.
  • Strong experience with:
    • SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
    • SAP CAP (Node.js or Java)
    • SAP Fiori / SAPUI5
    • SAP HANA / HANA Cloud
  • Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA systems.
  • Understanding of OData, REST APIs, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with Git-based development workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications & Skills

  • SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
  • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BTP
  • SAP CAP certification (desired)

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to SAP Joule development
  • Familiarity with SAP AI Core or generative AI services
  • Experience with RISE with SAP landscapes
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
