About the role
The Manager -SAP Basis role provides the overall ownership of the SAP applications within SAP Operations.
This role requires operational expertise in SAP BASIS, Oracle /HANA Database & Azure to ensure optimal performance, availability and useability of our SAP Landscape. Candidate will work with internal teams and Partner resources to ensure all Operations Processes are in place and being optimally executed to delivery SAP Availability and Useability.
Optimize the return on investment, Main accountability: analyses and leads the resolution of the most complex technical issues while providing expert technical support and direction to multiple teams, and stakeholders management in Azure hosting.

Backup and Restore
Proof Of Concept
Problem Solving & Innovation:
Analyse and diagnose customer feedback, formulating action plans that will improve VoC
Work across boundaries within and external to CTO to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement them.
Engage and solicit help from service provider.
Qualifications and skills Essential
Minimum 8+ years SAP Basis hands on and Technical Architecture experience required
Experience leading teams and balancing conflicting priorities
Must have played an SAP BASIS Lead role for a large (50+ instances) SAP Environment.
Database Management (Oracle & HANA)

Azure Hosting
DB – Oracle, HANA
Netweaver
SAP PI/PO
SAP Solution Manager

Involvement in the full project lifecycle of an SAP implementation which included delivery of a new/upgrade of SAP system experience
Experience of hybrid operations (on-prem with cloud integrations)
Experience of working in a global company including being part of a globally dispersed, multi-time zone support team.
Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience a plus.
Ability to manage escalation at Director level
Effectively able to communicate and influence technical discussions with senior management when necessary & demonstrate leadership skills.
