Lead the support efforts and guide the SAP Basis Administrators in the support of all SAP development and testing environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime of business-critical SAP systems and databases across the organization. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead project implementations, transport management, batch monitoring and architecture advisory
  • Lead the SAP Basis Administrators in design, installation, and configuration of SAP systems
  • Administer SAP system schedules including backups, downtime, upgrades
  • Collaborate with other departments in analyzing and defining requirements
  • Work closely with Administrators on installations, upgrades and troubleshooting of issues with SAP systems
  • Administer existing SAP R/3 and FI/CO implementations and processing of update records
  • Support new SAP implementations of BW and SRM
  • Support Application Development including testing various integration points
  • Provide off-hour on call support as a member of on call rotation
  • Resolve SAP performance and system related issues
  • Support SAP implementations including weekend maintenance and on call duties
  • Administer the application of support packs/OSS notes
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to other staff members

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP R/3 Basis, FI, BW, SRM and SAP 4.7
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP implementations and upgrades
  • iSeries (AS/400) experience
  • Experience with Solutions Manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
