Administrator II - System & Applications Administration
1. 4+ years of overall experience with SAP BASIS and should have knowledge and experience on Administration, monitoring and operations of SAP solutions.
2. Monitoring of SAP and 3rd party solutions using SAP Solution Manager, SAP LVM, New Relic APM, EWA, Azure monitor for SAP.
3. Sound knowledge of all BASIS activities Refresh, Upgrades, Certificates etc.
4. Primary point of contact for all SAP Basis issues related to the SAP environment and performs related duties as assigned.
5. Exposure to SAP landscapes (ECC, S4HANA, Solman, PI/PO, LVM, RMJ, Router, CC) across on-premises, public and private cloud environments, mostly Azure.
6. Good understanding of SLES and RHEL and ability to architect HA setup involving Linux Pacemaker and similar supported HA solutions for SAP HANA DB and SAP Central Services
7. work closely with infrastructure teams (Server, compute, security) to troubleshoot and resolve problems and suggest best practices of running SAP workloads in Azure.
8. Understanding of SAP Networking requirements involving, External and Internal connectivity to SAP and other applications using Proxy, Load Balancer, Application g/w, creating requests to get Firewall rules and NSG rules needed by the application.
9. Provide performance tuning, problem analysis for SAP instances. Ideally cloud based deployment experience mostly Azure.
10. Will participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approval all SAP related changes.
11. Good communication skills, Ability to work in a team and work flexible hours to support engagements in different time zones.
12. HANA expertise : provide expert level guidance on SAP HANA database administration, High availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), performance tuning, security, workload, and data volume management.
13. Good exposure in HANA Database upgrades, table partitioning, pacemaker clusters.
14. Handle HANA troubleshooting: HANA replication, participate in failover/failback drills, slow queries, expensive statements, table growth, log segment issues, backup failure.
15. HANA Certification – added advantage.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Certifications:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in application support or system/application/database administration.
