The Wealth Management & Insurance division covers three businesses in all Santander Group countries: Insurance, Asset Management and Private Banking. We work to provide the best solutions to our clients in these three businesses in the 10 countries where we are present.

Santander Alternatives is looking for an Associate based in our London or Madrid office.
We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
Manage the client communication material and processes
Ensure all regulatory and legal protocols are followed when engaging with institution client coverage
Lead client segmentation strategy particularly for new client or product initiatives
Work hand in hand with product investment teams in the production of marketing collateral
Managing the CRM system to ensure management information is accurate and timely
Participate in client dialogue and follow-up
Ensuring “go to market preparedness” is executed in the critical pre-marketing phase of a new launch
Active participation in team dynamics to ensure growth trajectory is realized

Professional Experience
Three years’ experience in finance-related roles in Investment Banking, Private Banking or Asset Management (Required)
Education
University/college degree level is essential with postgraduate or professional qualifications an advantage
Interest in pursuing Chartered Status of FCA.
Languages
Fluency in written and spoken English (Required)
Knowledge of Spanish would be a major advantage (Preferred)
Hard Skills
Knowledge of leading CRM systems and core competence across PowerPoint, Excel and Word (Required)
Ability to learn and climb a steep curve with complex products, demanding clients and a sophisticated, yet evolving, regulatory environment.
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills and confidence in own ability able to influence people and processes
Problem solver with patience and determination to succeed
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with constant inputs and strategy tweaks
