Manufacturing Science and Analytical Technology (MSAT) is a global function which drives the industrialization and the improvement of biological processes and products. It embarks new technologies and digital trends. It is the keeper of manufacturing process knowledge. MSAT is at the crossroad of R&D and production. It is a multi-disciplinary function that provides expertise in process, manufacturing sciences, process modelling, statistical analysis, process validation and technology transfer.
Main responsibilities
Understand the setup and capabilities of the site’s data integration layer and plant connectivity.
Combine expertise in data science and biotechnological processes to ensure technical propositions are in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industrial constraints to maximize robustness, reliability and economics.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders (including MSAT Data Science and Digital (DSD) team and process engineers) to design and setup frameworks and systems to collate, manage, visualize and analyse bioprocess data.
Translate process data to enable end-users (e.g. process engineers) to visualize data for process performance and trending, as well as to perform data analysis using in house statistical tools/software’s
Work closely with MSAT DSD and process teams to analyse the real time process data to improve process monitoring and control.
Deliver assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner.
Adhere to the relevant safety and quality standards of the site.
About you
Education:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science or relevant Engineering field
Skills:
Strong communicator, able to collaborate across teams and cultures.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently.
Curious and passionate about understanding and improving processes.
Experience with programming languages and data analytics tools like R, Python, JMP, SIMCA or MATLAB is a plus.
