Manufacturing Science and Analytical Technology (MSAT) is a global function which drives the industrialization and the improvement of biological processes and products. It embarks new technologies and digital trends. It is the keeper of manufacturing process knowledge. MSAT is at the crossroad of R&D and production. It is a multi-disciplinary function that provides expertise in process, manufacturing sciences, process modelling, statistical analysis, process validation and technology transfer. This role works closely with MSAT process engineers to translate manufacturing challenges into laboratory study designs.
Main responsibilities:
Receive hands-on training in analytical methods and relevant equipment to conduct lab activities independently.
Collaborate with MSAT process engineers and other experts to design the appropriate studies for troubleshooting or process improvements.
Draft technical documents like protocols and reports for product development, process optimization and technology transfer.
Execute the studies, interpret the data and present findings to stakeholders with support from other experts.
Support knowledge transfer between the sending and receiving units by preparing and organizing documents.
Share regular project progress and insights with the Singapore team.
Assist with routine laboratory maintenance and housekeeping.
Identify improvements opportunities to processes or laboratory. Lead or assist with the improvement projects.
Deliver assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner.
Adhere to the relevant safety and quality standards of the site.
About you
Education:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Science field.
Skills:
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail.
Curious and passionate about understanding and improving processes.
Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently.
Experience with data analytics tools like R, JMP, Python, or MATLAB is a plus.
