Job Details:
These positions start at $18.80/HR with a shift increase for third shift.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sanitation Operator cleans and sanitizes food processing equipment or other related environmental surfaces in conformance to company standards and applicable health laws and has the ability to use all necessary sanitation equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Remove all product and materials from assigned area.
Do thorough pre-rinse of area working from top to bottom.
Apply various chemicals and soaps to all areas of assigned equipment and machinery from bottom to top.
Complete thorough final rinse and check area for needed corrections.
Clean production processing areas according to established company and USDA standards.
Climb to scrub high places and bend or squat to scrub low places.
Hold and operate high pressure water hoses for periods of time.
Replace sanitation materials in proper places when finished.
This position is responsible for the set up and daily operation of machines assigned to all production areas.
This team member must be lock out tag out trained (training will be provided upon hire).
This position requires team members to perform various duties:
checking for proper shingling
removal and replacement of blades
maintain proper equipment settings to ensure that product quality meets standards
maintaining a clean machine
Other duties as assigned by management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to work in a cold, wet, and humid environment.
Must observe all required hygiene & safety procedures at all times.
Must be able to stand for entire shift.
Job requires repetitive bending, lifting, twisting, turning and reaching high and low levels frequently.
