The Service Partnerships and Product Management Teams sit within the broader European Service Business Office (ESBO).

The Service Partnership Samsung TV Plus team has three key areas of responsibility.
1. Identifying, evaluating and securing new opportunities within the digital media industry with the goal of creating scalable services and businesses on top of the global footprint of Samsung Smart TVs.
2. Key partner management, developing our existing partner relationships through mutual strategic alignment, monitoring service and financial performance and driving revenue on our existing platform whilst also integrating new services.
3. Management of partner technical support requirements in association with our internal engineering teams, but also supporting new business and partner management engagement with technical support and co-ordination.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a highly dynamic team and get first-hand experience of content licensing, marketing and partner management business.  

Service Partnerships:

  • Supporting local Business Development team to ensure further premium offerings within Samsung TV Plus, with a focus on local Italian and Spanish partners
  • Assisting the pan-European Business Development Team in executing the content strategy, including vendor management, logistics support, coordinating channel launches, delegate management, pre/post-event client communications and overall administration tasks, with a focus on local Italian and Spanish partners
  • Contribute to reporting and planning cycles by collecting data and creating presentations
  • Support in developing and implementing service/business strategies through performance management that will feed into the overarching business strategy for each region and go-to-market services and activities.
  • Support the performance - together with BD stakeholders and Partner manager of business reviews of channels and the service with key partners in the region and recommend improvement areas to internal and external partners, with a focus on local Italian and Spanish partners
  • Support BD’s business expansion of Samsung TV Plus with existing partners
  • Assist coordination / perform monthly communications to all partners in Italy and Spain ensuring they are fully updated on all developments of the service. Identify and resolve any issues within the relationships
  • Support across the Samsung TV Plus service in Italy and Spain with a focus on content marketing
  • Assist  as the marketing point of contact for assigned Samsung TV Plus content partners, with a focus on local Italian and Spanish partners
  • Suggest campaigns promoting key Samsung TV Plus content
  • Analyse and suggest changes to campaign strategy based on analysis and performance in your region
  • Collaborate with the wider Samsung TV Plus marketing and product team to ensure alignment in Italian and Spanish market
  • Assist to collaborate with Product Management (PM), Business Development (BD) and Samsung Ads teams to maximise Samsung TV Plus performance across Europe, with a focus on Italy and Spain
  • Facilitate administrative tasks with internal and external stakeholders where needed
  • Support on cross-divisional projects as and when they arise
  • Ad hoc tasks supporting the wider Samsung services team

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A drive to continuously improve – actively pursuing development areas both in the business’s operations and your own personal skillset
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • You  have a background in business and digital media (TV) studies
  • You are interested in future technologies, digital media, TV & Streaming,
  • You are a fast learner with good attention to detail
  • You are fluent in Italian,  English  and Spanish which is the business language within Samsung
  • You are a team player who enjoys working with others in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Ideally you already have some experience working in Sales or the Media landscape
  • You have experience working with both PowerPoint and Excel
  • Basic skillset with Adobe Suite programs preferred
