Job Summary:

Perform routine laboratory workflows to prepare biological samples for analysis while supporting lab readiness through reagent preparation, equipment care, waste handling, and accurate documentation in accordance with SOPs, GLP, and applicable regulatory guidelines.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Execute routine sample preparation techniques to support downstream analytical testing
  • Prepare reagents and mobile phases and document work in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Make and record observations, perform basic calculations, and collect and prepare data for evaluation
  • Identify and document potential performance errors or unusual results and escalate to senior laboratory personnel
  • Support lab operations through equipment upkeep, glassware cleaning, and general housekeeping aligned to 6S standards
  • Manage routine waste handling workflows including biowaste, sharps, chemical, and instrument waste streams while following safety requirements
  • Assist with inventory maintenance, stocking labs and stockroom supplies, labeling, and freezer or sample storage organization as needed
  • Communicate clearly and timely with cross-functional stakeholders and support workflow management in LIMS and/or automated instrumentation environments

What We Are Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (some CAP/CLIA laboratory locations may require an Associate Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology)
  • Proficiency with pipetting techniques and basic laboratory principles (reagent preparation, sample handling, and safe bench practices)
  • Working knowledge of GLP fundamentals, laboratory safety, infection control, and hazardous chemical handling
  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on supporting internal laboratory “customers” through reliability, responsiveness, and proactive communication
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and audit-ready documentation
  • Ability to manage routine, recurring tasks consistently while prioritizing safety, quality, and operational needs
  • Effective collaboration skills and comfort working across teams (e.g., wet lab, LC-MS/MS, metrology) to prevent workflow bottlenecks

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $34,700.00 - $72,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
