As a QA Engineer at NN, you will be instrumental in developing and executing automated and manual test scripts to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to review functional requirements and technical designs, creating detailed test plans and cases. This role offers the opportunity to engage in feature refinement sessions, providing valuable insights into business requirements and contributing to the overall success of our projects.
What are the tasks you will perform:
- Responsible for developing (automated) test scripts and test execution, including manual testing.
- Review functional requirements and technical designs where applicable to create test plans and detailed test cases.
- Support in tracking QA metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Help (developers) troubleshoot issues and support root-cause analysis.
- Participate in feature refinement sessions to familiarize with business requirements.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
What we expect from you:
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
- Git basic knowledge needed: Branches, Checkout, Commit, Push, Pull, Pull Request.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools – preferably Provar or Playwright.
- Work experience in Salesforce development and configuration is an added advantage.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes is an added advantage.
