Job Description

Summary:

As a Salesforce Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy innovative Salesforce solutions that support Rockwell Automation's customer engagement and digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and applications across Salesforce Cloud platforms.

You will report to the Technical Leader and work in a hybrid capacity from our Pune, India office.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools like MuleSoft.
  • Participate in solution design with architects and business analysts, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT to ensure solution quality.
  • Contribute to release planning, deployment, and documentation using tools like GitHub, Gearset, and Own Back up.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salesforce developer.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience with version control systems and CI/CD practices.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Developer I & II).
  • Experience with CTI integration, email automation, and knowledge management.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
  • Experience with Salesforce Integration Cloud or MuleSoft.
