We are seeking a Backend Salesforce Developer to join our Commercial Platform Organization. As the owners of the enterprise Salesforce environment, our mission is to build a robust, scalable foundation for our global commercial operations.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Platform Engineering: Develop and maintain complex Apex logic, custom APIs, and system integrations that serve as the backbone of the Commercial Platform.

  • Performance Optimization: Audit existing codebases for governor limit bottlenecks and implement "bulkified" patterns to handle high-volume data processing.

  • Quality & Standards: Adhere to team-wide coding standards and architectural principles to ensure the Commercial Platform remains modular and technical debt is minimized.

  • CI/CD Advocacy: Utilize SFDX and Git-based workflows to contribute to a seamless release management process.

  • Scalable Logic: Develop robust Trigger frameworks and Platform Event architectures to decouple complex business processes.

What we are looking for: -

  • Advanced Apex: Expertise in building scalable, bulkified backend logic (Triggers, Batch, Queueable, and Scheduled Apex).

  • API Architecture: Experience designing and consuming REST/SOAP integrations in a multi-system commercial landscape.

  • Engineering Tooling: Proficiency with Git, VS Code/SFDX, and familiarization with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Copado, or GitHub Actions).

  • Data Modeling: Strong understanding of complex relational data structures within Salesforce.

Soft Skills for the Commercial Platform

  • Systems Thinking: Understanding how a change in the backend impacts the end-to-end commercial user journey.

  • Clear Communication: The ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders (Product Owner/Business Owner).

  • Collaborative Mindset: A proactive approach to helping QA teammates reproduce bugs or helping DevOps optimize deployment scripts.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce development role within a large-scale or platform-centric organization.

  • Active Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
