Job Description

As a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst with Rockwell Automation, you will be a strategic bridge between business partners and Salesforce platform delivery teams. You will lead the analysis, design, and evolution of Salesforce‑based business solutions across sales, service, marketing, and digital operations. You will translate complex needs into scalable, secure, and future‑ready Salesforce capabilities that drive measurable outcomes. work with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers and business partners. You will partner across IT and business teams to define requirements, improve end‑to‑end business processes, support daily operations and improve the Salesforce ecosystem. You will help shape the Salesforce roadmap, ensuring agreement on enterprise architecture standards, data governance, and integration strategies while ensuring adoption of Salesforce best practices and innovations.

You will report to the Salesforce Technical Leader and will work hybrid and based in either Milwaukee, WI or Houston, TX.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead end‑to‑end business analysis for Salesforce programs, including discovery, requirements definition, solution design support, and validation.
  • Partner with process leads and product owner to understand strategic goals and translate them into clear, prioritized user stories and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and Technical Leaders to ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with platform standards.
  • Be the trusted advisor to Product Owners, helping shape the Salesforce product roadmap and release planning.
  • Analyze and improve business processes across Sales Cloud(primary), Service Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud, and related Salesforce capabilities.
  • Support UAT execution, defect triage, and release readiness in collaboration with QA and delivery teams.
  • Act as a key liaison between business, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure delivery and adoption.
  • Support production operations by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and recommending sustainable improvements.
  • Ensure documentation, data integrity, and compliance with enterprise governance and change management standards.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required - We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) is an asset.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams including product management, architecture, development, and operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant).
  • Experience with enterprise integrations (e.g., ERP, SAP, MuleSoft).
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience supporting global, multi‑region Salesforce implementations.
